a bad weather frontal system lies just north of the Dominican Republic and will intensify during the day. Already yesterday there were nationwide ...partly strong showers and thunderstorms. With rising of the sun, the clouds will swell again quickly and develop new showers and
thunderstorms. In between, there are also sunny and quiet sections. The north-west and east will be most affected today, ie also for Punta Cana / Bavaro it won’t be an optimal beach day.
Temperatures will remain below 30 degrees Celsius in areas where the sun will not shine; when the sun will come out it will quickly reach 32 degrees Celsius. The wind blows weak from alternating
directions, and could refresh in thunderstorms.
